Our Family’s History and Experience

The Ligato Magur family's roots began over 75 years ago when Fred and Theresa Case opened a grocery store on Fourth Street in South Troy. Fred had freshly butchered meats, and Theresa made the family's favorite Italian sauces, meatballs, cookies, pies, and holiday specialties.

Daughter Connie Case Ligato opened Connie's Coffee Break. For 25 years, it was a favorite lunch spot for downtown businesses and shoppers. That is where Terry Ligato Magur began her career.

She continued in the restaurant and catering industry, managed Brown's Brewing, Bellini's, Dakota, and Mangia's. She and her son, Christian, served as the owner and chef of Cafe Terese and Terry's Kitchen Deli and Catering in Brunswick.

With over 45 years of cooking experience and knowledge, Terry knows that her customers' needs are the most important part of doing business. She is passionate and committed to excellence.
